IMPORTANT: THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT. READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING.
1. PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
By choosing to engage in the interactive archery-based activity provided by Hit N' Run: Archery Games, I acknowledge that I am doing so voluntarily and with a full understanding of the inherent risks involved, including but not limited to physical exertion, high-speed impacts, collisions, misfired arrows, falls, or unforeseen equipment failure.
I certify that I am in good physical and mental health and fully capable of safely participating in this experience. I further affirm that I do not have any of the following conditions which may impair my ability to safely engage in the activity:
Heart conditions or cardiovascular disease
Respiratory issues including asthma (unless properly managed)
Musculoskeletal injuries or disorders (e.g., back, neck, joint, or limb injuries)
History of seizures, fainting, or loss of consciousness
Neurological, balance, or coordination impairments
Pregnancy
Any medical condition that could be aggravated by strenuous activity, sudden movement, or physical contact
Any condition requiring the use of medication or medical devices that may limit full physical capacity or awareness
I understand that it is my sole responsibility to determine whether I am medically and physically fit to participate and to consult a physician if necessary. I also acknowledge that I am responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions or concerns to the organizers prior to participation.
If at any time I feel unwell, unsafe, or unable to continue for any reason, I agree to immediately cease participation and notify an event official or staff member.
In the event of an injury, medical issue, or emergency, I authorize Hit N’ Run: Archery Games staff, volunteers, or contractors to administer basic first aid and, if deemed necessary, to contact 911 or other emergency medical personnel on my behalf. I understand that this may involve transportation by ambulance or other means to a medical facility. I agree to accept full financial responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of such emergency response or treatment.
2. AWARENESS & ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
Combat-style archery games carry inherent risks that cannot be eliminated, even with instruction, proper equipment, and supervision. These risks may include but are not limited to:
Accidental contact with equipment, participants, or surfaces
Trips, slips, and falls on indoor/outdoor terrain
Physical fatigue, dizziness, or dehydration
Strains, sprains, bruises, or abrasions
Faulty equipment or misuse
Actions or misjudgments by other participants
I understand that this list is not exhaustive, and I knowingly accept full responsibility for any injury or damage that may result, regardless of cause.
3. SAFETY RULES & CONDUCT AGREEMENT
I agree to follow all instructions, rules, and safety procedures provided by Hit N’ Run: Archery Games staff. I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the activity without refund. I also accept responsibility for using all equipment safely and returning it in good condition.

4. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT
I grant permission to Hit N’ Run: Archery Games to capture my image, voice, and likeness through photos or video while I am participating in any Hit N’ Run activity, event, or session, regardless of location. I understand these recordings may be used for marketing, promotional, educational, social media, or any other lawful purposes.
I release all rights to these materials and waive any right to inspect or approve them. I acknowledge that I will receive no compensation and that the materials will be the property of Hit N’ Run in perpetuity.
5. PARTICIPANT STATEMENT
I confirm that I have read this agreement in its entirety, understand its contents, and sign it voluntarily. I certify that I am at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian if under 18.
6. PARENT/GUARDIAN AUTHORIZATION (FOR MINORS)
As the legal guardian of the participating minor, I acknowledge and accept the terms above on their behalf. I confirm the minor is fit to participate and agree to assume full responsibility for their safety and conduct.
7. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State in which the event is held, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the County or City where the event occurs, within the Commonwealth of Virginia, District of Columbia, or the State of Maryland, as applicable. The parties hereby consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue, including the defense of an inconvenient forum.
8. SERVERABILITY
If any part of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining sections shall remain in full force and effect.
